8th Meeting of the Study Group on the Genetics of Diabetes (SGGD)

May 11-13, 2022, Lille, FRANCE

Dear Friends and colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 8th Meeting of the Study Group on Genetics of Diabetes (SGGD), we cordially invite you to participate in this exciting meeting. The meeting will be held in Lille Grand Palais.

Starting from its first meeting in Malaga in 2007, the aim of the SGGD is to promote research into the genetic basis of all forms of diabetes (and related conditions), as well as to promote the interaction and transfer of knowledge between basic scientists and the clinical community.

The 8th SGGD meeting will be held between May 11, and May 13, 2022. Like in previous editions it will be an opportunity to meet people – scientists, clinicians and other professionals – who actively participate in research in the field of (epi)genetics of diabetes, its complications and related diseases. Furthermore, it will be an opportunity for young scientists to participate in the Best Poster Award or the Best Oral Presentation Award, and to get a chance to win a prize.
The mixture of keynote lectures, invited talks and oral presentations from young scientists as well as poster discussions (around a cheese and wine) will ensure an excellent and stimulating scientific environment.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Lille!
